UAP Cultural Club organized an Online Cultural Evening

 

On 28 September 2020, UAP Cultural Club organized its first online cultural evening to lighten up the tedious environment of the covid-19 pandemic and disseminate much-needed recreation to the students of UAP. Members of the Board of Trustees of UAP attended this captivating cultural event. Air Cdre (Retd.) Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury, Acting VC, UAP attended the program as the Chief Guest.

Eight students from different departments performed beautiful classical songs, traditional dance and Bangla poem recitation which were appreciated by the viewers. The program was live on UAP Official Facebook Page where more than 150 students, faculty members, and staffs attended with joy.

In his speech, Air Cdre (Retd.) Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury congratulated all the members of the club and its adviser for making the online event a success. He also appreciated the renditions performed by the students of UAP. To keep the mental well-being, Mr. Chodhury also advised the students to engage them with art, creativity and recreation.

Ms. Layeqa Bashir, Assistant Professor, Department of Basic Sciences & Humanities, and Adviser, UAP Cultural Club ended the program with a vote of thanks. Among others, Md. Tarek Khan, AD, DSW and members of the UAP cultural club were present.
